hey guys i need your help
I've posted this issue in graphics but i still cant figure this out
I have a powerbook that i bought 6 years ago
for some reason i cant find any iLife applications on my mac other than iCal and iChat and iTunes
and i need the iPhoto
so i went back to my CDs which are 3, AIrport, hardware and OS x
i insert the OS x and it has two options:
install OS x or applications
when i click on the applications it says that the system was restored and that i need to insert the CD with the labeled illustration (i eject the Cd the i have and find out that it is the same CD the computer is asking for!!) so i insert that CD again but nothing happens, the only option that i get is Quite

I noticed that in order to install the iLife programs i need to reinstall the OS X
does that mean reformatting?
what about the archive option? how does that help me?
please advise me what to do
sorry for the ignorance but i never had to deal with these issues

many thanks in advance
