When I start iMovie '08 it reports it lacks some Quicktime componets and asks me to re-install it. My iMac came with iMovie pre-installed. What do I do?

Cheers

Have you checked for the latest software updates? I recently updated iMovie '08, which then needed a further Quicktime update. Did it all and everything worked again.

Update didn't work as I already had the latest version install. I just re-ran the install bundled software option from the supplied DVD's and it's working now.

try re-installing QuickTime, or if you have Time Machine enabled, just use that to go back to when you first installed.
