• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

What's the best way to put together a stop motion movie in either iMovie 06 or 08 (I have both and prefer 06)?

If no one can help you.. you might want to look into iStopMotion, it seems to work quite well. Hopefully someone can help you with iMovie though.

Yeah, for stop movie type work I usually recommend iStopMotion. It's affordable and works quite nicely. Other than that, I don't really know much as I don't actually do any stop motion. I did try out iStopMotion for the fun of it and if I got into stop motion, that'd probably be the app I'd work with.

I will third the iStopMotion. I have used it before and it works pretty nicely, especially if you are just starting.
