Just posting to say HI!!! I'm new to Mac...
I've been eyeballing the Mac for years but didn't have the funds to purchase one, but in stroke of BAD luck (friends car got stolen and my Acer Ferrari was in the trunk) that gave me a reason to go out and buy a Mac (the insurance money was partial funding). Got myself a MBP 17", 2.6GHz, 4GB Ram, 200 HDD and upgraded 1920X1200 display... Bought it through my company plan (saved a good $300), recieved it Monday Jan 21st, 2008. I'm soooo geeked with the OS, all I could think was "Why the **** did I not go Mac earlier???"... Well already having issues with the backlight (Jan 23rd, 2008) and my MBP has been sent back by on Friday Jan 25th, 2008 for repairs... sigh.... When will my luck change.....
