Hard Drive not found

Attempts to start g4 Powerbook result in intermittent hard drive not found situations. ? appears hard drive whirring accentuated. Sometimes hitting machine it starts up.

Plate hanging on wall dropped on open machine there is a dent. Problem occurred after that.

Appreciate suggestions.
