Two things. I bought one of the transition MBP's a little over a month ago. So, I have to load Tiger and then load the drop in Leopard disc. It seems so redundant to load old just to load new. Would I be better off just biting the bullet and buying a full version of Leopard?

Also, are people having problems with Leopard freezing and quitting while loading, causing a relaunch question?

jacintosh I guess your Leopard disc is an upgrade only?

Seems that is where most of the problems arise. Erase and install is much more stable however you need the black retail install DVD for that.

I do believe the drop disc is just an upgrade...but with Tiger I get the iLife package.
