Hello:
I've had my macbook for about one month. Within the first week I installed windows XP (bootcamp) with no issues. I switch between xp and leopard every so often with no problems. In addition, the fan has always been quiet sometimes kicking on for a few moments.
Just yesterday I was running XP and everything was great. I switched over to Leopard so I could use itunes. I noticed the fan kicked on and could easily be heard. I kept spinning for over 30 minutes.
I restarted leopard, but within 4-5 minutes the fans kicked on.
I turned it off, and left it alone for 30 minutes. Once started in leopard the fan kicks again within 4-5 minutes.
I removed the battery, and held down the power button for 5-10 seconds...that didn't work.
Funny thing is, that once I reboot back to windows XP, the fan is nearly silent. Any suggestions why this is happening?
Thanks,
VJ
