Installation Options(run native) for XP

Your Mac's Specs
MBP 2.2Ghz
Ok so I have a MBP 2.2Ghz with 4gb of RAM (installed myself). I want to install XP to use some of my engineering programs which dont work on mac and maybe some gamming. I have head that when Using BootCamp only 2GB of Ram will show up. How can I correct this?
