I program in PHP, MySQL, and use Apache.. that's what my whole business is about and I run it from my Mac. I use BBEdit for all my programming needs and I love it! :)

It's not Apple's fault...

It's the courier that they use, some "Same-o-day junk. This was the worst courier i had ever seen in my life.

1) Very disorganized
2) Lied about being at my doorstep leaving no notice or anything like that
3) Customer Services are the stupidist people on earth
4) They keep your package in a warehouse somewhere for like another 3 weeks untill they decide to send it to you

I mean, it is Apple's fault for choosing this type of courier, but i mean come one, i wouldn't trust a 7k computer with them if my life depended on it. i rather pay a bit more to get what i order by Purlator, Fedex or even UPS.

You wouldn't understand how happy i was to finally get my mac. i was waiting since Oct 10, 2004...

Check your credit card statements, maybe your order didn't go through; maybe it's gotten lost even. If they have taken payment, you should of receive some-sort of confirmation email to say your order been processed! If not and you've made the payments then email the Apple store instead of ranting on in here. That's the only way your gonna find out what's happened to it.

Good luck.

I know that I do not get charged until they actually ship it to me.. so I wouldnt be able to do that.. so not sure if he would either. Another way is to call the people you ordered it from.. man I call and email MacConnection quite often to get updates :)

i didnt orderd it via email

i orderd it via an apple retailer, i just have to pay it, when it's here.

so, it could not be a problem with the credit card.

and ****, i'm still waiting.

i dont think i'll have it under the christmass tree.

well, i dont even think apple is able to ship it befor 2005

I think the computer store here at the university has one. It was hooked up to a 23" cinema display too. Very nice.

Let me ask you this though, whats worse:

Waiting 3 months to get a mac because they need to fix the cooling system,

Getting said mac 2 weeks after you order it, then have the cooling system pop, spray coolent all over the internals and fry the system. Then have to send it back for warrenty, and end up getting a working mac 5 to 6 months later.

See?

that is why I only buy apple products in the store
Receiving the product, paying the product

like in the old days, I don't do that for everything, and talking about research
Didn't you research that apple is really bad in terms of delivering orders?
