Hey Guys,
I need to go out today and get a scratch disk to store all my captured video on for editing in Final Cut Pro. I've been scrambling around on the web looking for reviews, when i realized the best people to ask would be you guys. If you just give me a good brand and model that will work well With Final cut pro 6 and the Intel core 2 duo iMac, i would really appreciate it. Also, a good size, i was thinking 500GB. lastly, a connectivity question, You probably know the iMac has 1 Firewire 400 and 800 input, i have been using the cam to import through the 400 port. Do i need to get a Ext.HD that uses the 800 port? or can you set it up to have the Ext.HD into the 400port and the cam directly into the Ext. HD for capturing purposes. What is the best set up? Thanks again guys, you always help me out so much.
