Trash Icon

hello all

i was wondering if there was a way to get the trash icon off my dock?

i have been using path finder lately and it places a trash can on your desktop -- don't need two.

Nope, as far as I know there's no way to get that off of the dock, since a line separates the trash and the other programs. Even with a freeware advanced-options app like Xupport, I couldn't find anything. Sorry.

i think i have come across something like this before in a forum for darwin, but i cant remember its been so long..you might wanna post in the darwin forum and see if they genius's can give you any idea..im sure you can go into the code of the dock and remove it if you feel confortable with that ... ?
