I purchased and downloaded about 30 songs from iTunes...

Using Toast 8 Titanium I burned them on to a couple of CD's no problem...

I then wanted to burn a Music DVD also using Toast 8 Titanium...

When I went to add them to Toast the program gave me the following message:

17 iTunes music store tracks were not added.

Only Apple applications, such as iTunes are permitted to burn purchased content.

When I checked the properties the difference was that the excluded ones said: Protected ACC Audio file....and the ones that were allowed to be added said: Purchased ACC Audio files...

But all 30 are "purchased" files from iTunes....

So what's the deal here....???

Thanks in advance for your input...

The "protected" ones have DRM-restrictions on them. Up until several months ago, that was the only way to get them. Now you can get them DRM-free in most cases (I don't think all music is available that way yet due to restrictions set by the music labels), and it's possible you may be able to upgrade yours to DRM-free if you bought them before they were available that way.
