I'm about to get my hands on my new MacBook and plan to run vista on bootcamp in a month or so. Do I need to do anything now as far as partitioning the drive or anything? Trying to plan ahead so I don't have to start over later. By the way, my last mac ran OS 8.x! So its time I got back to a mac!

Thanks!

All you need is the Leopard DVD and your Vista DVD.

Go into any forum section, and just above the list of threads, at the top left there will be a button "New Thread". Hit that and you're on your way.

ok. So I won't have to reformat my hard drive later when I decide to put windows on there?

How much hard drive space should I allot to vista? 10-20 gigs?

Thanks!

Just run the bootcamp assistant and it should take care of everything. As for Vista (I would strongly advise you to install XP), it takes 10-12Gigs by itself. So I'd say leave like 25-30GB for Vista if you plan on working there, installing games and such.
