choppy videos on youtube

just bought my new macbook but i noticed that videos on youtube are choppy. it has nothing to do with streaming i guess because even if the video is 80% completed and i want to play this video then for some moments is choppy. maybe not so much but still. whats the reason? help

Are you running a ton of apps in the background? Do you notice if the fans are running very loudly?

Try downloading iStat Pro (a Widget, free) for Dashboard. See what it says your CPU and Memory usage are while playing the video.
