Linux using Parallels

17-inch model 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor
I currently have windows vista installed on my imac using parallels. The problem is that it keeps crashing. Windows xp pro worked just fine with no problems at all. I have heard that Linux is pretty good for parallels?? Is it possible to run linux using parallels? Or should i stick with xp pro?? Vista is horrible!

any suggestions would be great! XP PRO or LINUX???

Well they're two completely different Operating Systems, so that's an impossible question to answer.

If you want to run Windows Apps, I'd go with XP, which I have installed. If you want to run Linux, then I'd go with either Ubuntu or SuSE (my personal choice).
