I'm not sure if it should go here cause I know that "Anything goes" dont mean literally. But its a very simple quick question none-the-less.

Ok, I have a wireless router. Not a very good one, it was years ago, beyond the point. Anyway, its "g" type network, MacBook can run on a "n." We all know this, not a big deal. I want to get a new/faster/better one. Nothing wrong with that, no big deal. I was thinking of a Airport Extreme or a Time Capsule (MacBook is my main computer, so backup would be nice) Both run the "n" type. But the only problem is I play xbox live at my house on occasion. The only type of of wireless they sell is this. Would this run on the "n." Direct wired connection is not a option for the xbox. Thanks everyone

802.11n is backwards compatible with 802.11a/b/g. So your Xbox will be able to connect just fine.
