Word freezing when I stop audio recording in notebook

I love Word Notebook because it lets me record audio notes. However, about 1/3 of the time when I'm recording and click "stop," Word freezes. I end up losing the entire audio recording and any notes I wrote after my last save. It's really irritating. Has anyone had this problem or know what to do?

Hey, I've been having the same problem. Does anyone else encounter this and/or have any remedies for it?? I don't know about you kvanscha but I have Word 2004 on a MacBook Pro with Tiger. Anyone have any ideas??

Word Freezes

Word Notebook freezes for me too. As soon as I press the record button, it freezes. So far, just the Word program. I am not pleased. The notebook and recorder is the only reason I got the Office program, since I'm a student and its really useful. Not useful if its not working...
