Im currently running Quicktime 7.3.1

I want to download video, but apparently that can only be done with Quicktime 7 Pro? Im not sure if that's true, but if so, is there a free download anywhere online?

Same thing for windows media player. Maybe its because Im a Mac novice, maybe Im just missing a step. Saving files to my PC was pretty straight forward.

Thanks in advance

What do you mean by saving files? Are you talking about links on web pages? If so, then you can just right click on the link and choose Save As and it'll download normally, which you can then view later using Quicktime.

If you lift your left finger and click only with your right finger, it will become a right click. Otherwise you could enable it maybe from the mouse preference pane (system preferences > Mouse)

Another fail safe for right clicking is to Control+Click.
