confused about ipod...

so my 4th generation ipod has been confusing me.

I start to play a playlist with 12 songs.

So I start to play song 1. It plays about 0 seconds of song one and moves onto song 2. It does this until it is done with all 12 and goes back to the menu.

I gave up and restored the ipod completely - an annoying and time consuming process, but now the ipod is back to full functionality.

Have any of you had similar experiences?

Never heard that one, you may have ony had to reset it. If you don't know how to hold down |> and menu for a few seconds, then while the apple is showing hold down all 4 buttons for a disk check << menu |> >>
