Switched to Mac two weeks ago, so, I'm very new to Leopard OS. Generally, I'm able to figure out any problems encountered; however, I cannot load Chessmaster 9000. The instructions called for dragging the desktop icon into the HD. I've tried this 3 times and had no success. I've dropped in on the HD and I've dropped it on the Applications folder, but, at best it just show the disk in the App folder. Am I missing something? Anybody successfully installed this program?

Any help will be appreciated.

You don't drop the Desktop icon anywhere... that's the CD icon. Open that up, then drag the icon inside to your Apps folder.
