mac mail mailing list?

Every week i send out an email to see who can play football, but have to go through and type out each email address, or the start of their name so it shows etc.

Are mailing lists possible in Mac Mail, so I can type their addresses into the mailing list, and just choose it so I dont have to type them every week?

Are the recipients in your Address Book? If so, create a "group" with all of their email addresses in it. Then when you want to send the email, just address it to "groupname" (maybe "football"?) It will send the email to everyone in that group. Works really well!
