I keep seeing DOS before VISTA starts to load

I have a MBP when i load vista i see these lines:

Booting GLDR...
Resetting the bootdrive

and so on... the next screen goes

booting 'Windows Vista'

.... how can i remove this?

My mom has another MBP and she has windows Xp in it. i never see the dos thing.

It's just Vista's startup process, it certainly isn't DOS. Have you ever seen a Linux startup?

Just ignore it.

well the problem is i cant ignore it... instead of going right through the normal booting process of vista, it take a minute or 2 to before it loads. hope someone knows how to resolve this. just like the second link

If it's that much of a problem you might do better asking on a Vista forum, as in that case it's a Vista issue.
