I've been using my new iMac for about a week now (made the switch from the PC), and have really come to enjoy using the standard keyboard and mouse. As I am very picky about my input devices, and usually swap out the standard equipment for some Logitech whenever I buy a new PC, this has been a very pleasant surprise.
I've been particularly impressed with the standard mouse, although it would have been nice if it came with the wireless out of the box. I initially had difficulty accessing the right click, but it is now second nature. I also did not initially like the microscopic scroll ball, but it is superior to any mouse scroll mechanism that I had previously experienced. It's fast, and I love the fact that it goes both up-down and left-right.
I have a Logitech S 530 on the way, but I now wonder whether I made a mistake in not getting the wireless Apple mouse and keyboard.
All in all, I've been very happy with the Mighty Mouse, notwithstanding all of the criticisms I've read on this board. Perhaps I will yet encounter the types of issues that many have experienced, and will change my mind, but until then, I think I'll continue to use the standard gear.
