when i plug my iPod into...

my mac, and open itunes it says it needs to update it to version 1.1.2... when i click update it says contacting server update but never finds it and therefore says error.. does nayone know of a diff way i can download it so it is up to date as its extremeley annoying. It then tries to open itunes store which again only sometimes works. please help!!!!

If you're talking about jailbreak or adding third party apps, trust me, you're better off with 1.1.1.

What exactly do you need 1.1.2 for? In my experience, I find 1.1.1 to be far better (i.e. more stable and more easily hacked) than 1.1.2
