ebuyers have Maxtor STM3250310AS 250GB SATAII 8MB Cache HD's on offer at the moment. Can I install this in my Mac G5 in the spare internal bay, clone my very full 80GB drive onto it and set that up as the start up drive?

Cheers

andrew it is extremely difficult to get some manufacturers to state their SATA II drives are Mac compatible. Suggest going to OWC website at http://eshop.macsales.com and do a search of their SATA II HDD.

It is interesting they offer for sale only Seagate, WD and Hitachi. Good luck.
