I had windows installed using bootcamp...

I decided i didnt want it anymore and opened up time machine and it offered to let me use the drive as my backup

I allowed it to convert my drive, however now bootcamp cant restore my partition?

What can i do?

It kinda defeats the purpose to backup your data on another partition on the drive your backing up ;) (if the drive fails you loose your data and your backup)

To erase that partition
1) open up diskutil /Applications/Utilities
2) select the drive at the top of the list in the side bar
3) click the tap "partition"
4) select the partition you want to delete
5) click the "-" button at the bottom of the partition table
6) click apply

that should do it!
