what is the best way to clean the dust and prints all over my powerbook screen? thanks for all your help

From what I know, Apple says to remove the battery and wipe the screen with a damp cloth and then dry with another cloth. I've done this many times and it works very well.

Paper and water, the manual states.
Seems okay, otherwise I think Isopropyl (spelling) alcohol and a microfiber cloth ought to shift the more stubborn fingerprints. Don't sue me if it breaks your screen, but I do believe that to be the safest way
