Formatting Ipod for Macintosh HOW?

hey guys i just got my macbook yesterday and i was wondering how do i "format" my ipod for macintosh so i can get updates..im selling my old pc so keeping it formatted for windows is no longer an option..any thoughts?

Plug your iPod in, open iTunes click on the iPod icon underneath devices on the left side and select restore. Remember that this will totally remove any data on you iPod.

Yeah, be sure to either get your music off the iPod before the restore (Senuti is a great program for that) or get it off your old computer onto like an external hard drive and onto the Mac.
