Skype Malware

I just got this message below on skype and I opened it and the system did some sort of scanning thing, as a mac user have I infected my computer with a trojan? Here was the message:

Are you running Windows on your Mac? Did you look closely when taking that fake test? Win32? OSX has no Win32 or none of those directories. It's fake. If not how is it finding Windows on my G5 iMac? :D

In other words, don't worry about it. That so called TEST has nothing to do with OSX.

Sites like that bother me as they are trying to get you to purchase their software in the end. Here is a screenshot if you click repair. They want your $$$.

I don't run windows on my mac, and I didn't really look at the scan thing, I just closed it.

That link is a definite scam

after all (I did this from a non admin account just in case) - it was scanning all the dll files on my G4!!!

I suspect once the scan had finished I would be invited to download a "fix" that would no doubt be a PC trojan and my computer (if it was running windows) would join another botnet

Mac-oriented malware from Skype

The OP posted a Windows-oriented bogus message. I'm getting the following from Skype, titled sintsystmas1:

It's the exact same scam by the exact same folks - only now trying to scam $$ from those running OS X as well as Windows.
