i was wondering if it is possible to share the external fire wire hard drive i have plugged into my mac mini with other macs on the network. I can see the internal HD and a cd that i have in the drive, but the external hard drive does not show up. i wasn't sure if i had some setting not set correctly or something of the sorts....

Leopard or Tiger?

Leopard - Get Info on the drive and click Share Folder, then supply the appropriate permissions, or,...Add folders in the Sharing system preference pane under file sharing.

Tiger - Get Sharepoints

You can use Sharepoints to share a fat32 drive via SMB
