itunes mono output

is their anyway to make all of the output from the headphone jack or speakers to be mono?

the easiest cheapest way i found to do this is to head to radio shack and pick up a small adapter that fits to the end of an 1/8 inch jack (headphones, speakers, whatever). the male end accepts stereo from your source, the female end outputs mono.

the piece was a couple bucks and i use it from time to time at work to listen to music with one earbud in, so i can hear my coworkers and use the phone.
