My first post , woohooo haha
this place has helped a lot in the last couple months so thanks to everyone.

I recently noticed that when i'm in finder and i type something into the search bar i get no results.

for instance, if i highlight applications, then type itunes, itunes doesnt show up as a result.
or if i go into my music folder and type the name of a band whose music i have I get no results.

any idea why this might be happening?

this seems to happen regardless if i search on "contents" or "file name"

this is making it impossible for me to find my files.

Have you fooled with the search parameters (menu brought about by clicking the "+" icon next to "save")?

okay, i restarted and now it seems to work properly.

lately ive noticed leopard doing a lot of things like that.

for example, one time i used my remote to begin playing music.
then when i went back to the normal OS view of the desktop the dock was gone.
I had to restart to get it back.

Welcome to Mac-Forums, pade.

I personally think Leopard has quite a few kinks to iron out. I'm still waiting before making the jump. :)
