So I am new to the Macbook world and have a very basic, yet frustrating question that I know you guys can answer:

---> How do I change the dim switch when I'm not using my MAC? It dims out in a little under a minute when its not in use (usually reading something on the computer). I have been to the display settings and have changed several options, but to no avail.

Thanks guys.

I know that there was a bug back in tiger that the setting "automatically reducre display brightness before sleep" would enable itself automatically if you restarted your computer...
