Choppy DIVX movies on Airdisk in Leopard?

For anyone who has:

- Leopard 10.5.1
- Divx movies on their airdisk
- Quicktime with Divx component
- "Choppiness" when playing them in quicktime from the airdisk

Please chime in. I'm trying to figure out what is wrong. On occasion, video will simply freeze (sometimes resume) However, in VLC, it plays just fine (with the cache set to 1500 ms).

Anyone??? Thanks!

Same problem.I'm streaming video from PC over Airport and find Divx choppy. I found Quicktime and VLC player completely smooth.

I found some problems in QT (occasional choppiness), it was choppier in the Divx player, and it's very smooth in VLC.
