I have a problem with my MacBook Pro, and hope someone can help me out here....

After login Finder freezes after approx. 10 seconds, and the system is inresponsive. (I get the spinning beach ball..)

I have tried to repair permissions, and do a disc check in sigle user mode.

However when i log in in "safe mode" i have no problems at all..

Anyone have a suggestion to what i can do??

Welcome to Mac-Forums, klirr.

Not much info you're giving us, you know? We have no idea which version of OS X you are running (not Tiger but 10.4.11, for example), what are the specs of your MacBook Pro.

All I can tell you for now is that if everything seems ok in Safe Boot mode, you have a software conflict or a software corruption, maybe in the startup items or at least something that loads at the beginning.

This strongly suggests that the problem is some software that you've installed. Try removing all of your login items in System Preferences (do a Spotlight search for "login.") Also if you've installed any kernel extensions, like antivirus software, you might need to remove them.

Or you could just do a full archive-and-install from your system CDs.
