Hello Everyone,
As a recent MAC convert, I am entering the world of video capture, editing and formats with open eyes & ears.
This being said, I am looking for some sage advice in this area. My plan is to get an iBook and capture old videos (VHS, BetaMax, LaserDisc) into my Mac, edit them, and then create Quicktime movies in an appropriate format. Does this make sense? What should I watch out for? Is there a better way? I would want a high resolution copy of the originals which I could compress for the web etc... Quicktime seems like a good bet. But hey, I am no expert.
Comments appreciated.
Thanks,
Les
