does any one know of a program that will take a large piece of writing off of the internet i.e a web story (with diff chapters) and put it into a word or pages document so u can read it without the internet ?/

ive done copy and paste a few times but it takes forever and i find myself reading ahead in th plot by accident

im guessing that this might be a program idea that i came up with in my head but if any one knows if there is one it wold be appreciated

Just save the page - Go to File, then Save as... - this will save the page for later reading when you're not connected. Browse to the page for each chapter and save them one at a time.

Most of the book / story sites I visit have downloadable pdf files available for their stories. Make sure this option is not available to you also.

You're talking about trying to save multiple pages of a website. Pages you have not even visited. Am not aware of a program that will grab and save pages you have not been to.

You can try using apps like SiteSucker or DeepVacuum though they might not be selective enough for your needs. They also may not work well with over-complicated sites like Fanfiction.net or anything heavily php based.
