GarageBand for OS 10.3.9 ?

Hi
I would like to purchase GarageBand (or a similar, simple music production software) for my powerbook. However, iLife 08 (garageband 4.1.1) seems to be the only version around to be downloaded, which will not run on Panther.
I don't want to upgrade to Tiger, since I'll soon buy a new MBP, and then go directly for Leopard.
Are there any old versions of Garage Band available?

iLife available as a download? That's news to me. Unless you're talking about a software update?

And you'll have to search eBay for the first version of iLife, I guess. This is the Panther .pdf file and they mention iLife in it.

thanks for the info. yes, the version available probably is a simple upgrade of garageband.
