Sometimes my MBP goes into safe sleep because the battery completely drains. When I plug it in to wake it back up again, the keyboard doesn't work but the trackpad still does.
Any ideas why?

I had a 2.4 MBP 15" with the same problem. This happened on 10.5 and 10.4.11. Kinda disappointing, but I just got used to it. (as in make sure it never goes into safe sleep)

That being said, I had that safe sleep widget, so maybe that caused it to become messed up.

Anyone else had this problem?

I whis I was able to turn safe sleep off... The computer takes a while to sleep and it takes up a few gigs on my hdd. So far, I have never needed safe sleep. When my computer is low on battery, I turn it off or plug it in.
