Hi there.

I have the new iMac 20" and am running mac OSX 10.4.10.

I regularly use skype, and noticed today that my i sight camera no longer seems to work. When I open up photo booth or i chat, a message comes up telling me that the camera is in use by another application.

I don't recall changing the cameras settings. Any idea how I can rectify the situation?

iMovie isn't setup to use it is it?

Don't know if this would cause this prob though.

Welcome to Mac-Forums, goose.

You might want to try what was already suggested in this thread.

And I'll move this thread, this is a software problem (OS X Application) not a hardware problem.

Thanks guys, I've managed to sort out the i sight problem.

In the end I just re-loaded my OS X installer disks and the problem seems to be no more.
