Why is it you never see your wallpaper unless you are waking up from sleep mode? What is the point of having one then. Or...is there a setting so I can make the background of my iPod Touch a wallpaper rather than the generic Black?

The background on the Springboard (the screen with the icons) can be changed, but you'll have to jailbreak it and install a third party app that lets you do this.

Now I can't discuss jailbreak here at M-F, but if you do some searching around on Google, you'll find the information you need.

Thanks for the reply Kash. This is what I was thinking when I couldn't find the setting to change the wallpaper. I don't understand why they even have a wallpaper. You never get to see it except when you wake it up from sleep.
