Well that's a terrible update if it's true...

Moving icons, forwarding SMS's and an update to Google maps??

Nothing you can't do on a jailbroken phone! Of more interest to the hackers out there is will there be a new Baseband....if there is the developers n get at the secpack and unlock the 1.1.2 phones that are currently just iPod touches for many....

Do you think the new update will make it so the keyboard goes horizontal when typing a text message or email??

If the pictures don't show it, then it most likely won't be an included feature. I honestly don't mind so much as I've gotten used to typing quickly in the vertical position.

I was reading somewhere that Apple has optimized the underlying code a bit as the processor speed has been bumped up from 400MHz to 412MHz without having an affect on battery life.

so is the processor slightly overclocked? or was it higher than 400mhz to begin with, but kept lower for a few reasons?

i can see it now....a new thread...

"What FSB are you running on your iphone? and whats its 3dmark score?!?"

haha

Nothing remarkable. Glad apple caught on to our necessity to customize the icons on the home screen. Maybe in 1.1.4 they'll add backdrop images... woohoo.

That would be nice and I'm a little surprised it wasn't there originally. That and multiple sms should have been there from the start.

i hope i can go RIGHT to 1.1.3, and skip 1.1.2 all together to upgrade. Although im not sure yet i will do either, 1.1.1 JBed seems to be butter.
