One of the great jazz pianists of our time will be missed.
He has left a legacy of great music for us to enjoy.

Yeah he was born in a poor neighbourhood close to Verdun, in Saint-Henri. He played with Oliver Jones (another Montreal native) at one time.

Oscar was a legend.
