I have a three-year-old eMac desktop at home, and a Dell XPS laptop. The laptop is WiFi enabled, but the eMac is not.

I would like to be able to access the internet at home through my laptop. I assume I need some type of wireless router attached to the internet cable modem I use for the eMac.

My question is: what would I need in addition to a WiFi card for the eMac and a WiFi router?

Would this be something a techno-klutz like me could install in a relatively short time span (like an hour or two)?

Thanks for you help.

Your Mac's Specs
Gateway2000 P5-60. 66Mhz and 128 MB RAM.
A wireless card for your mac and a wireless router will be all you need. You can get an airport card for you emac or find a third-party one if you want to save some cash. Any router will do so long as it's web based setup (which most are now).
