I bought a Linksys WRT54G for the apartment. I set it up through my roommate's computer, which is a PC. I have an iBook G4 from Feb '06. I set up the network on her computer, everything went smoothly. On my mac, i can see the network, but it tells me that the password is invalid. The problem is; it isn't. It works perfectly without the WPA security setup.

I've been reading on this site about the problems that people have had with linksys and macs, but this seems like a new one to me =/ Anyone know what the **** I can do?

Crap. Ok i just saw the FAQ with the part about this problem. Firmware update and using WPA2 instead of WPA. We'll see if these work.

Let us know if that solves it for you. I have 2 WRT54G's here and both work with every WiFi Mac in the house WEP, WPA and WPA2. I use WPA2 of course for best security.
