Can I Change These Settings?

Your Mac's Specs
PowerMac G5, MacBook, iPhone 4, iPad
Ok when i have my Macbook plugged to the wall if i try to run Front Row the screen goes black and you have to keep pushin buttons on the remote and after like 5 seconds it will go black again. But if i unplug it and run off the battery i have no problems. So can i change the settings to where it doesnt do that anymore?
