Safari - Not prompting to save username and password

Hello,

I have had the same problem for quite some time and could not figure it out. I have discovered the problem! If you go to preferences in Safari, go to security and under the Autofill tab, make sure the username and password is checked. It should save and show your information now.

saving usernames & passwords in Mac

In Safari, click on the Safari tab on top left of screen. In drop down menu choose preferences > autofill > check box for usernames & passwords.
