I like to watch youtube videos, and play games and music, while the wife lays in bed and watches lifetime or something like it, I always have to wear my headphone, but i have a two year old that loves to pull the cord, I want to get some wireless head phones but I want them to be bluetooth and compatible withmy new iMac. Doe the alum. iMacs support a2dp out of the box?

If it has Leopard 10.5.z it does. I use it with my Motorola S9 headsets all the time. Just pair them, then click the bluetooth icon at any time and choose "use headset" to switch all computer audio to the headphones.
