I personally use Host Gator and I couldn't enjoy their service more than I already do.

So for 7.95 a month I get
http://www.hostgator.com/shared.shtml

What I am wondering is does anyone know of a better webhost, or just post what webhost you have.

I enjoy Host Gator but better would be a luxury

When I was with them, they had alot of downtime, and solving problems took ages. Dealing with them made them seem very unprofessional.

Most of my sites: http://www.domeneshop.no/

Two at: http://www.one.com/ (this one impresses me, considering moving the others here).

Since my websites are mostly directed to Scandinavian users, I've opted for webhosts that have their servers physically located in Scandinavia.

Currently using InvisionPower. Only because I was too lazy to set up my own board software and all that good stuff. Plus it came with a free IPB license. Ten dollars a month so it's not that bad.

I have just dropped Fasthosts due to their terrible customer service and I have anothe hosting package with a company called b-one - also a terrible compnay (although not as bad as fasthosts) that have managed to get 3 years of custom from me - this will be my last year iCal is armed with a reminder to cancel the yearly subscription at some point in 2008.

I will be looking at a new project and a new host at some point in 2008 so it's good to read what companies you're recommending - or perhaps more importantly - the companies you're warning people away from :)
