There was a prompt for software update last week, and I installed it. However Safari stopped working after that. The application opens up fine, but then it doesn't browse any website, nor does it display the "web page cannot be found" message. I have repaired permissions many times already.

I was thinking of reinstalling Safari but then it's not available for download anymore :(

Can somebody help?

Here is a link to Safari downloads:-

http://www.apple.com/safari/

You are unable to download version 3.0.4 which is Leopard only but 3 should be just fine.

When Software Updating, suggest hitting 'Download Only'. Find download in packages. Run Repair Permissions prior to and after install.
